This is one among a series of Webex animated GIF’s we used to familiarize all firm staff of how to work virtually when we encountered COVID.
The advantage of animated GIF’s are they are short, they repeat automatically and have smaller file sizes. Now they can run automatically in Outlook emails. The disadvantages are there is no audio, and you can’t rewind or fast forward. GIF’s are perfect for faster production times and especially good for downloading to your mobile device for viewing. GIF’s should be accompanied with written steps to add specific instruction and clarification.

Quick Reference Card (Guide) – FileTrail Records software

This 7-page quick reference card is more of a “guide.” I created this guide with little information and no experience with this kind of work. This QRG covers most aspects of File Trail, a firm wide records management application to track and deliver documents that are sent and retrieved from an offsite storage location. Being able to utilize empty space, removing unnecessary information while maintaining the flow and readability of a quick reference card is essential. The goal is to show information quickly, in an easily readable format without frustrating or exhausting the reader.
